In english:
I've just finished a 4-hour long tutoring lesson with one of my students and we had a great time. This boy, that I'm working with, had a couple of issues when we started working because of his attitude and the way he puts way too much pressure on himself. I mean, this kid is 10 years old. He shouldn't have to worry about anything but to just have fun and enjoy his years of childhood.
Since he had all these problems when we got started, it's amazing to see how different he is now and much he's improved, not only within his English skills but in his behavior as well. It's when I see how happy he gets when he finally understands something he's been struggling with for a longer period of time that I that I know that I want to work with helping people throughout my life. To see that I'm actually able to make a difference is an amazing thing.
Right now, Sara, Tracey & I are at a restaurant having mango- and strawberry drinks and we're all a bit over excited about the fact that they have wifi here. Ours broke down this morning and we can't go an entire day without internet. No no! 😉
My student and I!😄
One happy Tracey! ☺️
